If living in rented house can I apply for Education loan?


Can I apply education loan without any permanent residence...i will live in rented house please give answer to me?

Yes, you can apply for loan even though you are leaving in rented house. There is no restriction regarding residence for taking loan. However, there should be a regular income of your family or the co-borrower who will take loan with you like your father/guardian. If you take loan less than 7.5 lakhs, then there is no need to worry as the bank do not ask for any mortgage of property. But if you take loan of more than 7.5 lakhs, then you need to keep some property as mortgage like house, land, vehicle,etc. At that time if you do not have any other property like land, vehicle, etc. your loan will not be sanctioned.
