Hi friend,

Whatever place it may be, dont concentrate on pay alone. Since you have got 84% it seems you are well and good in your study part. Doctors earn more compared to Engineers since they are operating a human being. So, if you are interested and scored well in Biology, then go to medical line. Only fact is that you have to spend more than 5 years ,nearly 8 years so that you will be well trained to become an expert in Surgery.Then as you wish you will get higher pay which cannot be compared with others.Else you can take Engineering .

You have not mentioned whether you are from science stream or commerse stream.

If you are from science stream then look forward to do engineering because it has good scope and further you can do MBA.

While for commerse students there are many o[ptions like CA,Bsc,B.com,BBA etc.

First of all i can say that whose couse is select in which you are intersting.
if your interst in medical than medical is better for you
if your interst in Engineering than Engineering is better for you

In b.tech you can select many intersting Branches

Computer(cse),Electronics(ECE),Mech,Civil etc.

i think it is very important for you to first see that which stream u find more interesting. It all depends on your interest.If medical stream is more fasinating then you should go for it otherwise engineering.
you must have experienced in your school days that whether you are enjoying biology more or mathematics.
you can also judge your interest by lookin at your marks. if you score better marks in biology then you shud go for medical and engineering if you score more marks in mathematics.
More then anything your interest is important. If you join anystream but you are not able to generate interest in that field then there is only waste of time and money.so i advice you to first try to know what interest you more and then decide to join for a college.

It is totally depends on your interest ,
if you are interested on Math then I will suggest you for Engineering

Math is the Base of Engineering,it is also required that you have to pass the 12th with PCM scoring above 50% marks.
for this you have to sit in WBJEE,AIEEE,IIT,JEE exams.

As now the S/W market is lowing down,you can select Civil,Mechanical,Electrical etc streams...

if you are interested on Biology as well as you passed 12th with PCB scoring more than 50%,then you go for MBBS through WBJEE,AIPMT,AIMS etc...

If you chose pcmb subject in your 12th then only you are eligible for both lines. My suggestion is to you that enter in medical line if and only if you think that you have much caliber to stand before an AIIMS graduate after completing your MBBS course. I mean to say that a medical student spend his most of the years for study, firstly he completes MBBS 5.5yr+ PG 2+1yr and afterthat spend some year in gaining experiences.
Almost 10 yr are spent for his first salary, in comparison with engineering line , which takes hardly 5yr, you will start earning.

Engineering is an option in which it is not guarented that you will be hired with a very handsome salary but it is quite sure that you will not be unemployed.
Decision is upto you .....

If you done MPC means you should choose engineering if you done BIPC you should choose medical

according to my opinion it totally depend upon ur mentality.actually both sector r good.and if u r interested to go in medical sector then u can choose it.and if u r interested to go in engg sector then u can choose it.for doing engg u have to be strong in mathematics,physics,chemistry.and for doing medical u have to be strong in biology in ur 12th standard.
if u r interested in engg then u must choose any core subject like electrical,civil,mechanical etcbt don't choose any software related subject likes computer science,IT,ECE etc.because now software market is very down.
so take decission & make ur bright future.

both are better. but you have to find out your own knowledge and interest.

if you have interest in biology and also you have a good knowledge then obviously medical will be a good choice for you after 12. also doctor is a good and honorable profession also. so you can go for medical.

but if you have interest in mathematics and physics the go for engineering. then it will be best choice.

even you can go for general study B.Sc with a honors subject in which subject you have great interest. this is also good for career.

well I must say this is the most obvious question in each and every boy's mind after12th exam...but..one must remeber...it is the choice of one individual and must not not be influenced by any other means...the choice of straeam depends upon your capabilities and likes...

both are good but for you it totally depends on your interests bcoz if you are interested in one you will give more time to that whether it is medical or both . if you have the ability and you are ready to do hard work for cracking CPMT, AFMC ,AIIMS and CBSE then only you go for medical otherwise go for engineering bcoz maths is the subject required in engineering and not in bio and maths is further equired in the future when you will do pg and all.

If you have selected for pcb then it is better to go for biotechnology as it is the most emerging & developing branch today. In medical sciences , u always need instruments & its need will always increase so u have better opportunities for that.

If you have taken pcm , then you have to go for engineering,but still if you are interested in biological subject, you can go in bioengineering. That has gained a boost nowadays.
I know this as i m a student of std.12 & m also gng to opt for engineering next year.

you do not have mentioned 12th's subject that if you have passout 12th from PCM stream that you are eligible to sit in entrance exam but if you do not have PCM in 12th than sorry you are not eligible.

ANS- I think both of the courses are better. both have different criteria..and it's only depend on u..what subject do u have interest in. in both courses, there is must of hard work to get better output from them so both are better u have to choose one and give ur damn all time on the particular subject u will get best output..i sure..

There is no such question of which field is better. It all depends on the area of study that interests you. Find out all you can about the two fields from seniors, internet and friends and then decide which one appeals to you more.

I reckon u to see first of all ur field of interest. If u want to be a engineer then definetly go for the engineering, but if ur field of interest is medical then go for this branch dont see how long is the study or what's the scope. Just listen to ur wish..whatever u want to become be the best

dear friend this question has a problem you need to specify which group you are studying right now and is there biology in your studies.

since u asked this type of a question i assume that you are in science group and studying biology.
ya definitely both this streams are very much interesting. if you have an interest in biology (zoology) then go for medicine because at any time this doctors are necessary. i'll tell u my case when i am studying in +2 i was interested in biology when my friends sleep in the biology class i'll listem to the class but i am not interested in medical fiels my interest was in computer so i opted computer science instead of medicine. if u have 100% interested in engineering then go for engg that will be better or other vise go for medicine its more over your choice dont take others interest in to your career.
don't decide at the last moment take the decision as early as possible and make the preparation for that.

Engineering is better than medical. After engineering there are many fields,they can get the job.But in medical field,there is a no more scope than engineering for getting job.

this entirely depends upon you . if you are good in mathematics then you can choose engineering but if your maths is poor and your biology is good then you should choose medical . but i will suggest you to choose engineering as it is more secure than medical . you will easily get job in engineering.

You should go according to your interest, first decide your field of interestand then go for anything you want to persue.

for going in the field of medical you can opt for MBBS,BDS for being a doctor. for this you have to go through the entrance exam like AIPMT,DPMT,AFMC
and another way to go in the field of medical is that you opt for B.Sc. in(botony,zoology,biotechnology,microbiology,genet ics,life science, applied life science, biochemistry,immunology, environmental biology,etc.) followed by the higher studies (M.Sc., Ph.D.,etc.).

and in the field of engineering also there are same ways, you can go for B.Tech. or B.E. by appearing in the entrance exams like AIEEE, IIT-JEE, UPTU, DCE , PTU, etc. or ypu can go for B.Sc.in (physics,electronics, maths computer science, statistics, physical science, applied physical science,chemistry, industrial chemistry,etc.) followed by higher studies ( M.Sc., M.Tech. , Ph.D.)

There are many options, but first you decide your field of interest then choose any field, and focus on your 12th exams..all the best..

For medicine you have to get a good rank in eamcet or any other entrance exam.

For engineering good rank is not necessary but if you get a good rank you will be placed in good college or university so that your life will be settled good.
