For girls %u2013 what is a minimum requirement (physical/educational/financial) to join merchant navy? Please give us detail about the course/diploma i.e. doing after this course/diploma we can appoint directly for doing job in merchant navy(without enterence exam). After doing such type of a course if there is any physical inability for eg. Weight not as per your requirement then this girl can eligible for doing job. Now I am in 7th Std. but I want to do my career in merchant navy. Pl guide/prepare accordingly so that in future it becomes easy to me to get a job/career in merchant navy.

-Unmarried male -Belong to age group of 19-23 years -Should of Indian -Should have completed his graduation from a recognized university (with Physics, Mathematics, at 10+2) -Final year students can also apply 2)National Cadet Corps Special Entry (Through CO NCC Unit / DG NCC) As a air Wing Senior division 'C' certificate holder of the National Cadet Corps, you can apply to flying branch. In different stream... * B.Tech Naval Architecture and Ship Building Eligibility - Pass in HSC (10+2)from a Recognized Board with 50% Average in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics * B.Tech - Marine Engineering Eligibility - Pass in HSC (10+2) from a Recognized Board with 60% Average in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics * B.Sc - Nautical Science Eligibility - Pass in HSC (10+2) from a Recognized Board with 60% Average in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics. * Diploma in Nautical Science Leads to obtain B.Sc (Nautical Science) Eligibility - Pass in HSC (10+2) from a Recognized Board with 55% Average in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics. * Australian Deck Cadets Course Diploma of Applied Science (Deck Watch Keeper), Leading to the watch keeper (Deck) certificate of competency, By AMSA Eligibility - The minimum educational qualification is "A" level and its equivalent (10+2 years of formal study) with in the the following streams, Minimum of 50% Aggregate in 10+2 and English Minimum 50% in 10+2 or IELTS 5.5, with Science (Phy, Chemistry and Maths) or Commerce (with Mathematics) * Pre-Sea Training G.P. Yes You can apply to merchant navy in different fields like B.Tech Naval Architecture and Ship Building, Marine Engineering, B.Sc Nautical Science, Diploma in Nautical Science
Pre-Sea Training etc. The lowest qualification needed is a +2 pass with 60% marks. The aspirants have to write the ALL INDIA MERCHANT NAVY ENTRANCE TEST. Visit the official website of Bharat shipping as to get more information. |
