Re: Eligibility criteria and admission procedure to MBA programs at IIMs
For getting admission into MBA from IIMs you have to appear for CAT(Common Admission Test).
You have to get a very good score in CAT then only you will be able to get admission into IIM. Eligibility for CAT: Should have a Graduation in any discipline with 50% marks from a recognized University. For SC/ST/PWD 50% marks in Graduation is enough to apply for CAT. So if you fulfill the above criteria then you are eligible to apply for this examination. Examination Pattern: The examination will be online and there will be objective type questions. There will be negative marking for wrong answer. -Data Interpretation and Quantitative Aptitude -Verbal Ability and Logical Reasoning So start your preparation on above topics if you want to clear exam with good score. If you get a good score then you can apply IIM and they will call you for GD and PI after you have applied for admission. The performance in the GD and PI will also carry marks for admission. MBA is a two years duration master degree program. The basic eligibility criteria for this course is to have a bachelor degree in any stream from a recognized university with minimum 50% marks in graduation aggregate.
For getting the admission in IIMs or top management institutes ,one has to appear in the CAT entrance exam.
