NDA Exam is going to be conducted by UPSC (Union Public Service Commission) twice a year.

A candidate can join into Army wing, Navy wing and Air Force wing by this NDA Exam.

Here is the eligibility criteria for NDA Exam.
-For Army wing,a candidate must have completed 10+2.
-In order to join Navy and Air Force wings, the candidates must have gone through Physics and Mathematics as the subjects at 10+2.

One should be in the age group of 16 1/2 years to 19 years to be eligible for the exam.

As your date of birth is on 21-09-1993, you have completed 18 years by 21-09-2011 and by 21-09-2012 you are going to complete 19 years.

So, you fall under the required age criteria and you can appear for upcoming NDA Exam.

The next NDA Exam is going to be conducted on 15-04-2012.
The last date for the receipt of application forms for this exam is by 30-01-2012.

So prepare well for this exam and crack the exam.

After 10+2 you are eligible for NDA exam .The age criteria is 16.5 to 19 years.

But your date of birth is 21-09-1993 , this is below 19 years. So you are eligible for NDA exam now.

u are perfectly eligible for NDA..u can also give the IMA exam..it is meant for students who have passed 12th and want to get into the indian army..u should have a perfect eyesight..shouldn't be colorblind and u should be physically fit and strong..all the best..

•-> 12th pass from recognized board.
•-> Age limit - 16.5 - 19 years (Your age is fall between the limit)
•-> Passed 12th board with Maths and Physics (Air force and Navy) and All other for (Army)

This year exam was over. Wait till the next exam. Next exam will be in month of april (NDA I). Last date of submission of application form is 30th January, 2012.

NDA examination is done to select students for the officer post in the different fields like ARMY,NAVY and AIR FORCE. It is conducted by the UPSC .The examination is done two times in a year in the month of April and August .

The pattern of the examination for all three fields are same .You can apply for all fields if you are eligible .

Eligibility for the exam ::

You should be have passed your class 12th examination in any streams for the ARMY and you must have physics and maths as a compulsory subjects for the NAVY and AIR FORCE .

You should have born not earlier than 2nd January, 1994 and not later than 1st July, 1996 .Since you are born on 21 September 1993 which means that you are not eligible for the exam.

Pattern of the examination ::

The NDA examination is done in three phases ::

3.Medical .

I think you are not eligible to appear for this examination.See next year age limits of N.D.A Exam below.

Your age should be between 16.5 year and 19 years.(Next notification will be Only married male candidates born not earlier than 2nd January,1994 and not later than 1st July,1996 are eligible.)

So,according to the age limits you are not eligible to appear for this examination.

If you are interested in defence services then apply for the Combined Defence service examination.The examination consist of I.M.A,Navy,Air force and O.T.A.

For C.D.S examination,

You should have a graduate degree from any recognized university or equivalent qualification and those in the final year of degree course can also apply for this examination.

You should have a minimum 19 years and maximum 25 years.

This entrance examination is conducted by union public service commission.

Information Regarding NDA Examination.

National Defence Academy (NDA) examination is conducted by UPSC in every year for the admission in the Indian Navy, Indian Army and Air Force wing of the NDA. This examination is conducted twice in every year. Once in the month of April and other in the month of August. To appear in the NDA examination you need the following eligibility criteria.

Educational qualification = Pass 12th examination with any stream from a recognize board or University. The 12th board exam appearing candidates are also eligible to apply for the NDA examination.

Age Limit = The age must be between 16 1/2 to 19 years at the time of appearing of this examination.

As per your question your age is above 16 1/2 years and if you have pass 12th exam then you are eligible to apply for the NDA examination.

There are 3 fields you can join. Those are Army, Navy and Air Force. The entrance exam is conducted by UPSC twice in each year.

For Army wing:-
1.you have to complete the 12th in any trade or its equivalent with 60% marks..

For Naval and Air Force:-
1.You have to complete your 12th in science having physics and maths with 60% marks.

Age eligibility:-

Qualifying examination for NDA :

AAs per your date of Birth as on 06/12/93, you are now not eligible to apply for NDA as you have already crossed the maximum age limit of 19 years as on date.

NDA - National Defence Academy, the entrance exam for which is conducted by UPSC twice every year to join Indian Army, navy and Air Force wing of NDA.

The eligible candidate being an unmarried Indian male having either appear for the final 12th exam or pass in any stream from a recognised Board within the age of 16.5 to 19 years with no upper age relaxation fo any reserved candidate with good Physical and Mental health, can apply for NDA.

NDA's full form is National Defense Academy. To enter this academy an examination needs to be given which is conducted by UPSC twice a year. By giving this exam you can enter the following wings:-

Gender:-

This examination is only for the male candidates of India who are unmarried. Unfortunately girls are not allowed to sit for this examination.

Exam Pattern:-

It is mainly an objective type test and you will get the option to answer the questions either in English or Hindi. Total 900 marks have been allotted for the exam. 300 marks is for Mathematics and 600 is for the second section called the General Ability Test. The intelligence and personality section carries 900 marks approximately and it is basically conducted to know more to test your mental agility.
