iam in class 10.... when my percentage is less than 70%........ i can apply to nda

Scoring 70% in 10th standard is not a criteria to apply for NDA, in fact there is no percentage criteria in 12th which is the minimum academic qualification to apply for NDA.

NDA - National Defence Academy, the entrance exam for which is conducted by UPSC twice every year to join Indian Army, Navy and Air Force wing of NDA.

The eligible candidate must be an unmarried Indian male candidate having either appear for the final 12th exam or pass in any stream from a recognised University within the age of 16.5 to 19 years with good Physical and Mental health.

So as you are interested for NDA, you have to first complete 12th standard.

If you have completed 12th standard from recognized board with science department you are applicable for NDA exam.Commerce student are applicable for only Indian Army branch.

Candidate must have completed their 12th science with atleast 60% from recognise board.

Only Unmarried Male can Apply for NDA.

Age should be Between 16.5 to 19 years.

NDA Eligibility

Nationality : Must be a citizen of India.

Age Limits, Sex and Marital Status : “Only unmarried male candidates born not earlier than 2nd January, 1993 and not later than 1st July, 1995 are eligible”.

Educational Qualifications : (i) For Army wing of National Defence Academy :- 12th Class pass of the 10+2 pattern of School Education or equivalent examination conducted by a State Education Board or a University.

(ii) For Air Force and Naval Wings of National Defence Academy and for the 10+2 Cadet Entry Scheme at the Indian Naval Academy :- 12th Class pass of the 10+2 pattern of School Education or equilvalent with Physics and Mathematics conducted by a State Education Board or a University.

Candidates who are appearing in the 12th Class under the 10+2 pattern of School Education or equivalent examination can also apply for this examination.

Only MALE candidates who are unmarried can apply
FEMALES are not allowed to apply

So, first complete your class 12th and than apply for the NDA exams

well you still have a chance for NDA choose science stream since you have scored 70% its easy for you...(remember choose wisely)
take PCM physics , chemistry and maths.
then when you will be in class 11 and 12 NDA application forms will be released on http://upsc.gov.in . stay connected to this website for updates and previous year question papers.

For Navy / Air force wings:-

Candidate must have completed 10+2 with PCM subjects from a recognized board.

There is no minimum marks required for NDA Examination .

Age limit:-

Age should be between 16.5 years to 19 years.

There is No age relaxation for reserved categories in this exam.

Sorry to say this after 10th you are not eligible to apply for NDA exam. Because the minimum educational qualification is 12th standard. So don't worry first you complete your 12th standard after you can apply for this NDA exam.

This NDA Conducts Examination for Army/Navy and Airforce Academy .

Hi friend...It is sorry to say that,you are not eligible to apply for NDA examinatiom with your 10th class with 70% of marks...NDA exam is conducted by Union Public Service Commission to recruit the candidates in ARMY WING,NAVY WING and AIRFORCE WING of National Defence Academy...The minimum educational qualification required to apply for AIRFORCE & NAVY WINGS is 12th pass in 10+2 pattern with maths,physics subjects and for ARMY WING is 12th pass in 10+2 pattern from recognised institution/university...Age limit to apply for NDA exam is 16 1/2 to 19 years and only unmarried male candidates are eligible to apply...ALL THE BEST...
