i am sahil sarkar of class IX and i want to kwow that can i give enterence exam for nda from this age or i need to wait for 2 years

NDA stand for National Defence Service Exam. NDA Examination is conducted in 3 wings-Indian Air Force ,Indian Navy and Indian Army

The candidate must have a complete the 12th from a recognized board Or equivalent qualification are applicable for NDA exam.

The candidate age should between 16.5 years to 19 years.There is no age relaxation for Sc/ST candidate . Only unmarried male candidates are eligible to apply. You must have Citizenship of India.

You are now 11th satndard so you are not applicable for NDA exam but 12th standard candidate can apply here .

Written Examination will be divided into 2 papers-

Mathematics-300 marks.
General ability Test- 600 marks.

Total time duration for 2 papers is 300 min .

General Ability Test is divided in to two parts -

English 200 marks
General Knowledge 400 marks.

NDA stands National Defence Academy

NDA exam wings following three Academies

Indian Army Academy

Indian Navy Academy

Indian Air Force Academy

NDA exam is conducted by Union Public Service Commission twice in a year (NDA I & NDA II)

Eligibility :

The applicant must be Indian citizen

Army wings of NDA , applicants must have passed 10+2 / equivalent in any stream from a recognized university

Air Force & Naval wings of NDA , applicants shouls have mathematics & physics subjects in 12th stands

Applicants who are studying in 2nd year of 10+2 exam are also eligible for apply

Applicants date of birth should fall between 02.07.1995 & 01.01.1998 both dates are included

D.O.B proof , UPSC will consider matriculation certificate after being shortlisted for SSB interview

Only unmarried male applicants eligible

Eligibility details:-

For Indian Navy and AirForce: The candidate should be complete 12th standard from a recognised university or state board.

For Indian Army: The candidate should be complete 12th standard with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics subjects from a recognised university or board.

Applicant should be an Indian origin.

The candidate should be physically fit.

Only unmarried male candidates are eligible i.e Girls and married male candidates are not eligible for NDA exam.

The age limits are 16.5 years 19 years, no upper age relaxation.


Selection process:-

Written examination,

SSB interview,

Medical test.

So, first complete your 12th standard then after apply NDA exam and prepare well.

Sorry 11th class appearing students are not eligible for NDA examination.

One must be 10+2 pass or appearing students for NDA examination. You have to show documents during verification that you are 10+2 pass or not means you have to pass 10+2 before joining NDA .

UPSC conducts exam for NDA every year two times and you have to crack this exam with merit to get entry into NDA.

Age required is between 16.5 to 19 years and only unmarried male can apply for this entry. Also you must be an Indian citizen.

Eligibility To Appear For NDA Entrance Exam

The NDA or the National Defence Academy Entrance exam is conducted by the Union Public Service Commission which is responsible for conducting various government job recruitment exams in India..

The NDA Exam is conducted in April and August every year for :-

> Army Wing
> Navy Wing
> Air Force Wing

According to the UPSC guidelines..only the candidates who satisfy following conditions are eligible to appear for the NDA Exam :-

> Candidate has to be an unmarried male..

> Candidate should either be appearing for 12th boards in that year or must have already cleared 12th (no percentage restriction)

> The applicant has to physically fit and with good eyesight..

Until the next year..you are not eligible for appearing for the NDA Exam..

The written exam of NDA shall test you on General Ability and Mathematics

You can not join NDA exam after 11th standard.

NDA stands for national defense academy examination which is conducted by UPSC twice in year as NDA(1) and NDA (2).

ELIGIBILITY REQUIRED -

your age should be 16.5 to 19 years and only unmarried male candidates can apply for this examination. to apply for air force

or naval wing examination you should passed 10+2 with physics and math’s as compulsory subjects. to apply for army wing examination

you should passed 10+2 in any discipline from a recognized school.

The examination is based these criteria -

physical / medical fitness
