how GATE can help in placement for engineering students??

GATE is certainly a exam is an all india exam and if one qualifies the GATE exam then he /she is more likely to get a preference over the other candidates while getting jobs because one has completely proved his talent by qualifiying the exam and has certain and sure chances of getting an edge for placements.... all the best

sure GATE will help you in placement,there are many companies who take candidates directly on the basis of gate score.
and they all are almost reputed company.

after giving gate you will get an degree of MTECH
you can go in any research organization such as BARC,TIFR,ISRO,
you can also teach in any engineering college as a senior professor

if you are really intrested in your field or you really love your branch then only go for GATE or else go for other exams

gate is heipful for engineering students to get into colleges to do their pg programmes but if you prepare for gate exam means placements during ug is very easy

Yah dear i want to tell you that gate qualified student are placed more easily..because only a talented and brilliant student can clear it. .

there are some company which takes or appoint the b.teck engineer only on the basis of gate score card.so it is might helpful.

GATE certifies that the engineer have a good command over his subject.the more your percentile is, the better knowledge you have, so, that is an added advantage for you, as a good GATE score can turn the ball in your favour in the interview

gate EXam is only to go for the admisssion in the courses it is not helpful for providing any placements ...........

gate is usefull for get postgraduate degree

you can also get it in your B.tech degree.but your salary will be little lower than that of Masters degree.

yes certainly if you give gates and qualify to IITs then you may have a better preference over others.
but not necessarily as you have to perform equally well there also....

GATE is an all india based exam, it is conducted by Indian Institute of Science and seven Indian Institutes of Technology. so if u crack this type of exam , obviously this type of exam will help to get a job in future.

U can join Mtech after appearing in gate. after doing Mtech u will get a very good job, there are some company those are wants to see the score card of GATE. if u did well in GATE then u can get placement in those company.

obviously gate preparation is helpful for placement.if u take preparation for gate u gain more knowledge.if u have gather knowledge then u have no problelm to solve placemet papers.and i think u get more advantage.

i have an avg percentage of around 60 in my btech...i have scored 80 percentile in the gate 2009... will it help me in getting a good package job???

Truely speaking , GATE exam can give you an additional point to add it in your CV which is only helpful for technical type of job. Other type of job profile who do not want a person with technical skill, do not even consider this score. By the way, it is valuable to get good score during your engineering time, it is then give you an extra weightage than other candidates at the time of campus selection.
After passing college, if you apply in your core company then also it is beneficial and would be regarded as an extra achievements.
You can easily get a job in lecturership by producing GATE scholarship, and research line is always open for such type of scholars.

GATE is a exam by which you can get stipend in higher study like master degree and others. but there are so many company which prefer GATE score for recruitment. the give jobs student who qualified GATE. but if you have good GATE score then just try to study m.tech. after m.tech it is more easy to get job than b.tech.

GATE is certainly helpful to engineers to get a job for the engineers because GATE is an all india level entrance test and if you qualify GATE with good marks then certainly you will do your M.tech in a good college...and jobs will be plentily available...M.tech has a great scope in R & D line and technical eninners are in demand now a days..

yes, GATE(graduate aptitude test in engg.) exam is very helpful in way of doing work in that field.
