Is it possible to study m.tech-aerospace engg/aeronautical engg after completing b.tech in mechanical engg.?

Yes you can do that you are eligible. After answering GATE do apply for colleges offering MTech in Aeronautical engg.

So prepare hard for GATE and try to get into the best institutes of aeronatical engg.

It is possible to study M.Tech in Aerospace Engineering/ Aeronautical Engg after completing B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering. The minimum eligibility is a graduation in engineering for many institutes which are offering M.Tech in aerospace/aeronautical engg.

Presently,
i am doing b.tech in mechanical engineering in punjab under punjab technical university.i am interested in doing m.tech in Aerospace engineering in any one of iits or iisc banglore after qualifying GATE exam.i want to know about the syllabus for GATE exam to take admission to m.tech(Aerospace).I mean, which syllabus should i prepare for gate xam.Aero.engg. syllabus or mech.engg syllabus.
Shall i prepare aero.engg. syllabus to take admission into aerospace engg.(On the basis of b.tech mech.) or mech.engg syllabus for the same purpose?kindly help me and reply a suitable answer.its very urgent.i am waiting.
Also give me the details of the fees structures in the respective institutes providing m.tech in aerospace.

after completing b.tech in mechanical engineering you may take admission in m.tech in aerospace or aeronautical engineering. there are so many leading institution where aeronautical engineering is available. if you have interest on aerospace or aeronautical engineering study well and secure a good position in GATE. sure you will admit in a good institution with your desired branch. best wishes from me.

Dear friend
Aerospace Engineering is not available in IITD. You can do aerospace courses in IIT Bombay, Kanpur, Kharagpur and Madras.
But the M.tech. courses are not available in the field of Aerospace for computer science graduates.
Courses are available for non aerospace students also but only for Mechanical, Civil, Electrical, Electronics, Instrumentation or allied branches.
So, you won't be able to apply for the aerospace related course.
