NDA stands for the National Defence Academy.This exam is conducted by the Union Public Service Commission twice time in a year.


Eligibility and Criteria :

Candidates should have completed at least their 12th with Physics, Chemistry and Maths subjects.

Age of candidates should be at least 16.5 years and the upper age should not exist 19 years.

No any age relaxations.

Girls, candidates are not eligible for NDA exam, only male candidates can apply for NDA.

Candidate must have citizen of India.


Salary of NDA officers :


1) Lieutenant to Major

Salary - Rs.15,600-39,100(PB-3)


2) Lieutenant Colonel to Major

Salary - Rs. 37,400-67,000(PB-4)


3) General Lieutenant Gen HAG

Salary- Rs. 67,000 (annual scale increment @ 3%) – 79,000


4) General Lieutenant Gen HAG

Salary - Rs. 67,000 (annual scale increment @ 3%) – 79,000


5) VCOAS/Army Cdr /Lt Gen(NFSG)

Salary- Rs. 80,000(fixed)
