Hello friend,
Company Secretary is a professional course and such professionals are in great demand nowadays. So, if you possess a bachelors degree in commerce along with a professional certifications like company secretary, you won't need any other degree or diploma for great career. However, in the present scenario, the trend is to pursue MBA, LAW etc along with CS, I don't agree that an individual holding more degrees will be more successful compared to the one who only possess a professional certification. If you know what you are doing and think that you can be the best in it, success is never too far.

With the specialisation in the BCom you will be able to secure a job in the financial sector like banks, MF etc. As a CS you will need to work in the area of legal aspects of the company. A MBA will be an added advantage too. It is important that you first analyse your strengths and weakness. Also you need to decide on the kind of job that suits you. Based on that you need to select the appropriate stream. The combination mentioned by you is good. You can pursue the same only if it interests you.

Yes, pursuing B.Com (Bachelor of Commerce) with CS (Company Secretary) and MBA (Master of Business Administration) can be a good option depending on your career goals and interests. Here are some points to consider:

Comprehensive Knowledge: The combination of B.Com, CS, and MBA provides you with a strong foundation in commerce, accounting, taxation, company law, corporate governance, and business management. This comprehensive knowledge equips you with a diverse skillset that can be advantageous in various roles and industries.

Enhanced Career Opportunities: The combination of B.Com, CS, and MBA opens up a wide range of career opportunities. With a B.Com degree, you can pursue roles in finance, accounting, taxation, banking, auditing, or consulting. The CS qualification provides you with specialized knowledge in company law, corporate governance, and compliance, enabling you to work as a company secretary or in related legal and compliance roles. An MBA further enhances your managerial and leadership skills, making you eligible for executive-level positions in various sectors.

Entrepreneurship and Business Management: The combination of B.Com, CS, and MBA provides you with a strong foundation for entrepreneurship and business management. You can start your own business or work in managerial roles, leveraging your knowledge in finance, company law, compliance, and business strategy acquired through the combination of these degrees.

Professional Designations: Upon completing the CS qualification and obtaining relevant work experience, you can become a member of the Institute of Company Secretaries of India (ICSI) and use the designation of "Company Secretary" (CS). This professional designation adds credibility to your profile and enhances your career prospects.

Networking Opportunities: Pursuing B.Com, CS, and MBA allows you to build a strong network of professionals from commerce, law, and business backgrounds. Networking with peers, alumni, and industry professionals can provide valuable connections, mentorship opportunities, and career guidance.

Industry Demand: There is a demand for professionals with expertise in commerce, company law, compliance, and business management in various sectors, including finance, legal services, corporate organizations, consulting firms, and government agencies. The combination of B.Com, CS, and MBA can make you a desirable candidate for such roles.

However, it's important to note that pursuing multiple degrees requires commitment, time management, and dedication. It is essential to consider the duration and cost of each program, as well as the potential return on investment based on your career goals.
