Hi Sir, my name is Vino. I completed MBA. Now I am preparing civil & group’s exams.2 months back some other reasons two police cases opened on my name. Present one case is dismissed in court. The second one is still running in court, that case is police are opened on me. So now I am possible to write civil & groups exams. Please give me the information my mail id [email protected]

Yes, you can write Civil Services or any other government examinations even if you have one police case running on your name. If you qualify the examination and participate in further rounds of the recruitment process then, the background verification will be done and if they come to know that a police case is running on your name, you will be terminated from the recruitment process.

As per my knowledge you can write the civil services exam as you have not declared as a culprit yet. So there should not be any problem. Candidates who have completed their graduation in any stream from a recognized university are eligible to write this exam. Thanks

No, I am sorry to say that your are not eligible to write civil services or any other government exams, if you have any police case running on your name. If you want to apply for government examinations then at first you have to get a letter issued by the nearest police station of your area mentioning that you are not engaged in any criminal activity or in any anti socialism activities. Without closing the case you are not allowed to write any government examinations.

You can write the exam of civil service, but later on if the court will find you guilty, then your crime will be recorded in the book and you will be termed as a criminal, then you may get refused for any post like IAS/IPS/Inspector, etc.

You can appear for government exams without any worries at the moment. The problem will start, when you get selected for government job and there is a Police verification at your address.

Hence, you should concentrate on preparing for exam as well as getting the case in your favor to have any chance of getting a government job.
