Hi, I want to appear for Airforce X and Y group. I am not sure about my height that is it perfect for it or not? Please tell me what should be the height for Airforce X and Y group?

Height Required for Air Force X and Y Group:

The minimum height required to join Air Force as an Airman, is "152.5 cms" tall.

>> For Mechanical Transport Driver and Certain Technical Trades:
* Minimum Height - 165 cms
* Minimum Leg Length - 99 cms

>> For IAF Police:
* Minimum Height required - 175 cms

>> For Ground Training Instructor and Musician:
* Minimum Height Required - 167 cms

But the minimum required for Air Force X and Y Group is 152.5 cms.

The Indian Air force has offered an opportunity to the candidates for their recruitment as airmen i.e; for X group ( technical branch ) and Y group ( non technical branch ) for which the application can be made from 15th September 2016 to 29th September 2016.

--> The minimum qualification required for appearing in the same examination are as here under :-

* You must have be unmarried Indian male candidate.

* You must have born within 7th July 1997 to 20th December 2000 ( both these dates are inclusive ).

* You must have completed your higher secondary school degree from a recognized board or diploma in engineering degree from a government recognized polytechnic college.

* Your minimum height must be 152.5 cm and weight must be proportionate to the same.

My number in 12 class up board exam in math is 43 out of 100 and total percentage is 64% can able to give exam of airforce

What should be accurate height require d for group -y as airmen in iaf through direct intry?

What should be height and weight for x group in air force but required is 55kg

I have completed 10 2 with 47.2 percentage from science stream. Can I apply airmen y-group?
