Please tell me can I get admission in JNTU for B.Tech course after passing 12th from NIOS Board?

To get admission into JNTU or any other engineering colleges, the candidate has to take the EAMCET entrance exam. The admissions will be based on the ranks in the EAMCET.

The admission procedure is done through Counselling procedure. If the candidate is not qualified in the exam, then he/ she will be offered in the colleges through management quota.

But, to get admission in JNTU one should should score good marks and rank in EAMCET exam.

For the application of EAMCET exam, the candidate should complete class 12th from a recognized institution by the government of India.

As National Institute of Open Schooling (NIOS) is a recognized board by the government of India, the candidate is eligible to write the EAMCET exam.

Actually it doesn't matters , from which board you passed your 12th class because for getting admission in Btech colleges you must need to score good marks in the entrance exam called JEE (Joint Entrance Exam) conducted by CBSE board once in a year. Admissions will be provided on the basis of merit list generated by JEE marks. So forget about NIOS board and prepare for JEE exam

The criteria for admission in any universities across the nation is as follows :

* The candidate must have completed his education from a recognized board under the scheme of 10+2 at least with maths and physics as the main subjects.

* The candidate must have possessed at least 50% marks in the 12th.

* The candidate must have attained an age of 17 years at the time of admission.

If you fulfill the above said criteria then you can definitely go for graduation and be sure of one thing that NIOS is a recognized board by all the universities and have the same value as the other boards of education.

Yes, candidate who have passed 12th from NIOS are eligible to get admission in B.tech course in JNTU.
Candidate must have secured more than 60% marks in 12th class.
Age of candidate must be above 17 years.
