i am studying b.tech (electronics and communication engineering) and i want to know which specialization to choose?

After completion of B.Tech you can do MS for ECE students
there are four specializations for doing MS.these are:

• Advanced communication systems
• VLSI system design
• Signal processing
• Electronic instrumentation

Truly speaking,every specialization have good demand,the better specialization will give a little advantage .Most demanding specialization is advanced communication system and after that comes VLSI.select the specialization according to your interest.

After B.Tech there is its advanced for of studies called the M.Tech which is the Master's in Technology. This course is of 2 years duration and for this you need to sit for the Entrance Exam called the GATE.

GATE - Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering.

This is conducted by the IIT's every year in the month of February for the PSU recruitment's based on the GATE ranks and the percentiles.

Once you clear this, you would be given various choices of streams to study for the M.Tech.
Some of the streams offered to the B.Tech ECE students are as follows :-

Nanotechnology
VLSI Design
Embedded Systems
Communication Systems
ETC..
