Master of Anthropology
The master level course of the Anthropology is related to the diversity as well as the unity of the human society that cover the comparative and global prospective. The master level course is basically research oriented that cover topics such as past human societies, evolution pathways, cultural welfare and their knowledge and study on the closely related species. The course in the end also covers linguistic and archaeological branches of the field.
The candidates who want to pursue the post graduate level of this course have to earn a minimum of a bachelor degree in any of the field, most preferably the subject of Anthropology. In some Institutes, the minimum mark that needs to be obtained in the graduation level is 55%. The candidates are also required to pass in English in their Higher Secondary Examination.
Course Outlook:
The master level course of the Anthropology is a two years full time course. The course is also available as part time, the duration for which ranges from a period of six months to one year. The course is also available in correspondence.
Job Prospects:
The candidates who have earned the master level degree can opt for teaching line in various Anthropology departments of different Institutes and Universities. The candidates are also recruited as museum curatorial works, eco-tourisms, conservation work and in various Non Government Organizations dedicated for global development as well as national development.
