North Maharashtra University is one of the prominent universities in the country which offers the aspirants with several courses in various fields. The admission to these courses will be on the basis of score obtained in the entrance exam conducted by the University.

Structure of North Maharashtra University PhD Biotechnology Entrance Exam

North Maharashtra University PhD Biotechnology Entrance Exam will have 2 parts. The first part is common for all subject candidates and will comprise of 50 objective type questions each carrying 2 marks which have to be answered with in 120 minutes. There will be no negative marking for the wrong answers. Second part will consist of subject precise questions. There will be both objective type as well as descriptive type questions in this section. Objective type questions will carry a total of 20 marks and descriptive type questions will be of 80 marks. Paper II will be of 180 minutes duration.

Eligibility Criteria

Candidates who have passed Post Graduate Degree Examination in Biotechnology or allied subjects with at least 50% marks or equivalent CGPA from any recognized statutory University are eligible for the North Maharashtra University PhD Biotechnology Entrance Exam. Candidates who have 15 years experience with exceptional abilities and have passed Graduate Degree Examination with 50% marks are also eligible.

The application form of North Maharashtra University PhD Biotechnology Entrance Exam can be obtained from the official website http://nmu.ac.in/. Aspirants are required to fill the form online and after the online submission, the printout of the submitted form has to be taken. The hard copy along with requisite enclosures and DD of Rs. 500/- (Rs 350/- for backward community candidates) drawn in favour of Registrar, North Maharashtra University, Jalgaon payable at Jalgaon from any nationalized bank has to be sent to Director, Board of Colleges and University Development (BCUD), North Maharashtra University, Umavi Nagar, Jalgaon-425001 on or before the due date.
