Profile:

National Instructional Media Institute (NIMI) was established in the year 1986 by the Government of India under the Ministry of Labour. Deutsche Gesellschaft Fuer Technische Zusammenarbeit (GTZ) GmbH acting as the executing agency on behalf of the Government of the Federal Republic of Germany also provided assistance in the establishment of the institute and thus it is known as the Indo-German project. The major objective of the institute is to enhance the overall productivity of the teaching/learning process through the introduction of appropriate and validated instructional media under the Craftsmen and Apprenticeship Training Schemes.

1. Recruitment of Stenographer Grade III:

Educational Qualification: Matriculation or its equivalent is required for applying for the post alongwith a minimum speed of 40 words per minute in English Typewriting.
Age Limit: 18-28 years
Pay Scale: Rs. 5200-20200 + Grade Pay of Rs. 2400

2. Recruitment of Lower Division Clerk:

Educational Qualification: Matriculation or its equivalent is required for applying for the post alongwith a minimum speed of 30 words per minute in English Typewriting.
Age Limit: 18-28 years
Pay Scale: Rs. 5200-20200 + Grade Pay of Rs. 1900

3. Recruitment of Upper Division Clerk:
No. of posts: There are 2 Posts available.
Educational Qualification: Matriculation or its equivalent is required for applying for the post alongwith a minimum speed of 30 words per minute in English Typewriting.
Age Limit: 18-28 years
Pay Scale: Rs. 5200-20200 + Grade Pay of Rs. 2400

Selection Process:

The final selection for the posts will be made on the basis of the performance of the candidates in both written examination and the personal interview with the selection committee.
