Technical Assistants, Bureau of Indian Standards
Company profile: It came into existence in the year 1987 and since then it has been the lead organization for providing standardization, certification and quality. Its main objectives are to develop standards that are readily acceptable, to promote quality and to provide recognition and growth and development of production and exports.
Job profile: The role of the assistants will be to provide help to the seniors to the best possible level. They will be required to execute various standardization activities of the department.
Eligibility: A candidate must be an Indian National. The age of a candidate must be between 18 to 30 years as on 01.07.09.
Educational qualifications: A candidate must have a graduation from a recognized university.
No. of posts: There are 10 posts for the post of assistant.
Pay Scale: The candidates will be given a pay scale of Rs9300-34800 + a grade pay of
Rs4200.
Selection procedure: The candidates will have to appear for a written examination
Followed by an interview
How to apply: The candidates have to pay a fee of Rs300 in the form a DD drawn in the
Favor of BUREAU OF INDIAN STANDARDS payable at New Delhi. The applications must be sent in the Performa given in the advertisement or available on the website. The applications must be sent along with the proof of age, caste certificate, experience certificate etc to POST BAG NO. 4 INDRAPRASTHA HEAD POST OFFICE,
NEW DELHI 110 002 by ordinary post only
