Indian School of Mines University (ISMU) was established in the year 1926 and has grown into an institute of global repute.

Till 19777 ISMU used to offer M. Tech. degree in Industrial Engineering and Management and in the year 1977 it launched its MBA program. The MBA program is approved by AICTE.

The Management department of ISMU is considered to be one of the leading ones in our country.

The placement record of ISMU is also impressive.

The Institute offers two year full time program in management. The eligibility for admission to ISMU is graduation in any discipline from any recognized university. Minimum marks requirement is 50% in aggregate.

The selection process of the institute is divided in two parts. The first part is screening and then a personal interaction with the candidate. The applicants to the institute are required to take the Common Entrance Test conducted by the IIMs. ISMU shortlists the candidates on the basis of CAT score and the shortlisted applicants are called for GD and Pi after which the final selection is made.

The strength of the course is 40 and the institute strictly adheres to the reservation policy, of Government of India, imposed on institutions for higher educations.
