Profile:

North Eastern Regional Institute of Science and Technology was established by the Government of India in the year 1988 at Arunachal Pradesh. The institute was established as a premier institute for science and technology. The institute is located at Nirjuli which comes in the Papumpare district of Arunachal Pradesh. Initially the institute was started as a project of the North Eastern Council (NEC) in order to provide a system of education to create technical manpower for the development of the North Eastern region of the country.

Candidates can apply for the faculty posts of Professor, Associate Professor and Assistant Professor in North Eastern Regional Institute of Science & Technology:

1. Recruitment of Professor:
No. of posts: Total 24 posts are available.
Age Limit: Candidates should not be more than 50 years of age.
Pay Scale: Rs. 37400-67000 + Grade Pay of Rs. 10000

2. Recruitment of Associate Professor:
No. of posts: Total 30 posts are available.
Age Limit: Candidates should not be more than 45 years of age.
Pay Scale: Rs. 37400-67000 + Grade Pay of Rs. 9000

3. Recruitment of Assistant Professor:
No. of posts: Total 10 posts are available.
Age Limit: Candidates should not be more than 40 years of age.
Pay Scale: Rs. 15600-39100 + Grade Pay of Rs. 6000

Selection Process:

Candidates will have to undergo a written test followed by a personal interview test for getting selected for all the specified posts.
