Chaudhary Devi Lal University (CDLU) was established on April 2, 2003 under the Government of Haryana, Government of India. The university is named after Jan Nayak Chaudhary Devi Lal, the former Deputy Prime Minister of India. The university was established under an Act passed by the State Legislature. The campus of the university is spreaded in an area of around 213 acres at the Barnala Road, Sirsa. The major objective of the university is to promote and facilitate higher education and research activities. The university is determined to provide quality education to the students.
