With an objective to develop the higher technical education of the society, Charutar Vidya Mandal has started a self financed institute of technology in 2000 which was named as A. D. Patel Institute of Technology. This institute is regulated and maintained by the Charutar Vidya Mandal, a charitable trust which was founded in 1948.

Campus:

A. D. Patel Institute of Technology is spreads over an area of 40 acres of land and has very well maintained campus features. The institute provides well equipped labs, library, internet and modern class rooms to its students and also has conference and seminar halls for conducting various programs.

Courses Offered:

The institute offers various undergraduate technical programs like Automobile Engineering (60), Computer Engineering (60), Electrical Engineering (60), Electronics & Communication Engineering (60), Food Processing Technology (60), Information Technology (60) and Mechanical Engineering (60).

Admission Procedure:

Candidates should have passed higher secondary exams with a minimum of 50% marks in maths, physics and chemistry. The eligible candidates have to secure sufficient marks in All India Engineering Entrance Examination and have to sit for a counselling program in order to choose their desired course.
