United Bank of India was established in the year 1950 with its headquarter situated at Kolkata, India. Mr. Bhaskar Sen is the Chairman as well as the Managing Director of the bank. The bank was established as a state owned financial services company under the Government of India. The bank has a three tier organizational setup with a head office, 28 Regional offices and 1453 branches spreaded in the country. The bank actually came into existence after the merging of four different bengali banks.
Job Profile:
United Bank of India is making recruitment of the educated and skilled individuals on the post of Clerks in various states of India.
Eligibility:
Candidates must be in between 18 to 28 years of age for applying for the specified post.
Educational Qualification:
10+2 with minimum 60% marks in aggregate is required. There is releaxation of 5% available for the reserved category candidates.
No. of posts: Total 700 posts are available for the position.
Pay Scale: Consolidated salary of Rs. 7200-19300 per month will be given to the selected candidates.
Selection process:
A written test will be conducted by the bank in order to make selection of the candidates. Eligible or qualified candidates will then be called for the personal interview test.
How to apply: Online application should be made at the bank website from 23 August 2010 or 22 September 2010. The printout of the filled in application form may be needed in future so it is advised to keep it for the future references.
