Indian Institute of Foreign Trade came into existence in the year 1963 under the Government of India. It was established as the Education and Research Institution with an urban campus spreaded in an area of around 6 acres. This autonomous organization was setup in order to help professionalize the foreign trade management and increase exports of the country. The development of the human resources and conducting research is a way to increase exports of the country.

Job Profile:

Indian Institute of Foreign Trade is making recruitment of the eligible candidates on the posts of Personal Assistant and Junior Stenographer.

Eligibility:

Candidates should not be more than 28 years of age as on 30 September 2010.

Educational Qualification:

Candidates are required to have done graduation from any recognized institute or university for applying for the specified posts in Indian Institute of Foreign Trade.

No. of posts:

Personal Assistant: Only 3 posts are available.
Junior Stenographer: Only 7 posts are available.

Pay Scale:

Personal Assistant: Rs. 9300-34800 + Grade Pay of Rs. 4200.
Junior Stenographer: Rs. 5200-20200 + Grade Pay of Rs. 2400.

Selection Process:

A personal interview examination is the only selection criteria set for the posts of Personal Assistant and Junior Stenographer in Indian Institute of Foreign Trade.
