Rajendra Agriculture University, Samastipur
The establishment of Rajendra Agriculture University was made in the year 1978 and was previously termed as Tirhut College of Agriculture, Dholi. The University was shifted to its main building at Pusa in the year 1981. The university is moving towards the consistent growth of the society and offers bachelors and masters degree courses to the aspirants. This university has got the approval from the All India Council for Technical Education, New Delhi.
Campus:
The Rajendra Agriculture University offers handsome out looking campus with an excellent infrastructure. The campus equips with courses based instruments in their labs, class rooms etc.
Courses Offered:
The University offers courses like B.Sc. in Agriculture, B.Tech in Dairy Technology, Fisheries Science, Agricultural Engineering, Biotechnology and postgraduate courses.
Admission Procedure:
The students who are willing to take admission in the bachelors program must complete their intermediate or 10+2 from a government registered university or board. The admission of the students mainly depends on the scores obtained in the Bihar Combined Entrance Competitive Examination regulated by the government of Bihar and also intake students from All India Entrance Exam which is maintained by ICAR and VCI.
Placements:
Nowadays as the competition is spreading its wings all around, students have to give their 100% in their campus interviews to get a supreme job. Training and placement of the students have been taken under a separate cell which is conducted by the university to give excellent opportunities.
