The Vins Christian College of Engineering is situated in Kanyakumari in Tamil Nadu. It was established in the year 2003. It is affiliated to the Anna University Tirunelveli. It is a co-ed institution. The college has been tagged as a Christian Minority Institution.

Campus

The college has a beautiful background and surrounding. With the campus present at the middle of Chunkankadai hill, the environment is very suitable. There are hostel facilities available for both boys and girls at very nominal price. The library is present in the main building of the college. It has a huge collection of almost all engineering books and journals. There is transport facility also in the college.

Courses Offered

The college offers full time B.E. course in Computer Science, Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering, Mechanical Engineering and B.Tech in Information Technology. It also offers full time MBA and MCA course to the students.

Admission Procedure

The admission to the College is based on the results of the Entrance Examination conducted by the state for all the engineering colleges of the state. The Student must fulfill the criteria of the subjects’ combination in his or her class 12 examination. There is also provision for lateral entry to the undergraduate courses. For admission to the post graduate course one should have completed its bachelor degree recognized by AICTE.

The college holds very good placement record. The placement record is with companies like Infosys, TCS, CTS, WIPRO, Satyam, L&T, iFlex, Sutherland, Hexaware. The placement record in the current year is 90% in the MNC’s and the other companies.
