As most of us know, commerce is offered as one of the fundamental courses in India right from the higher secondary level along with arts and science. Particularly, Bachelor of Commerce is a traditional course that has been into existence right from the introduction of degree courses in the nation. Commerce courses are being taken up by many students and some students take up the course because of the easiness of the subject as compared to science subjects, while some students take up the course with the objective of going for some professional courses like CA and ICWA.

While some students are forced to take up commerce course, due to lack of marks at the class X examination for taking up science courses.

Commerce education in the state of Uttar Pradesh:

When it comes to commerce education in Uttar Pradesh, the state has quite a number of colleges for offering commerce education at the UG, PG and even at the Ph. D level. When it comes to admissions to commerce courses at the UG level in the state, admission is offered to candidates with higher secondary preferably in the commerce stream of education, while for PG level commerce course, admission is offered to candidates with Bachelor of Commerce from a recognized university with good percentage of marks in all three years of the degree course. When it comes to admission to Ph. D in commerce, colleges offer admissions to candidates with PG qualification in commerce from a recognized university.
