Hi all
My father is a central govt. employee posted in Haryana for the last 20 years. He has got property in UP - belongs from there & did his schooling from there. Am I eligible for UPTECH? If yes what certificates do I need for domicile certificate? My schooling ofcourse has been in Haryana throughout.

I think you must have domacile certificate of up so you caneligible for this exam......

i think ,
no,it is not possible to get domicile certificate only after your father buy a property.

you can go to any of the courts in UP and get the domicile certificate by submitting the required certificates

Candidates, who have passed the qualifying examination from an institution located outside U.P.; and whose parents are domicile of U.P.; and who have not claimed for any reserved category, are also eligible for admission to courses offered at all institutions under General (OPEN) category. Such candidate has to produce the domicile certificate of his/her parents (Father OR Mother only) at the time of counselling (certificate no. 3). [Code: UPGD]

Candidates, who have passed the qualifying examination from an institution located outside U.P.; and whose parents are domicile of U.P.; and who belong to Schedule Caste of U.P. / Schedule Tribe of U.P. / Other Backward classes of U.P. are also eligible for admission against reserved seats of their category. Such candidate has to produce the domicile certificate of his/her parents (Father OR Mother only) (certificate no. 3) and category certificate (no. 1 or 2 as applicable) at the time of counselling. [Respective Codes: GDSC/GDST/GDBC]

The domicile requirement to son/daughter of following is relaxed and admission is permitted to such:

1.

defence personnel settled in U.P. on the date of Entrance Examination after retirement / being disabled in action or Defence personnel killed in action and the dependents settled in U.P. on the date of Entrance Examination. Certificate no. 5 is required.
2.

defense personnel who are not domicile of U.P., but are posted in U.P. on the date of Entrance Examination. Certificate no. 5 is required.
3.

employee of All India Services belonging to U. P. cadre. Certificate no. 11 is required. [Code: GDDA]

yes you are automatically eligible and you are a citizen of UP because your family belongs to UP and there is no problem just what you need is a certificate from your tehsil offfice where your father has the property or lives in UP about the domicile certificate of your's other wise i dont think it matters at all because you are a kin of a resident of UP and because your father is a govt servant so you need not worry this case can be well handled of . for any other asistance do write to me . hope you got your answer thanks bye wish you luck and success in UPTU exams. take care

when you get property from there , then you may apply for domecile, you will get easily by going court or help any agent.

for exam you don,t have to submit any certificate but at the time of admission you will have to give domisile of your father. So dont worry you are eligible for the exam.

I am basically residence of haryana, passed Class x & having scheduled caste certificate from harayan but harayana was left in 1978 for higher studies in delhi and i join central govt. service in delhi since 1988. whether i have right to obtained domicile cetificate in favour of my daughter.

no problem for you since your father is doing job under the govt of up so you are itself then become the domicile of that state.so dont worry.

Sir my father belongs to up my grand father and mother live in up and having agriculture land in name of grandfather in up ..but my father got govt job in Chandigarh in 1993. My studies up to 3 class from up after 3 my all studies from Chandigarh ..but I want to get my domicile from up ..is it possible ...I have not gotten the domicile of any state/ ut ...recently I gotten central govt job in himachal pradesh.
