Vivekananda Institute of Professional Studies is affiliated to the Guru Govind Singh Indraprasta University, New Delhi, and located in Shivaji Park in the heart of the city. Campus

The institute is spread in a large area and has an excellent infrastructure. With fully air conditioned classrooms along with modern audiovisual equipments in the classrooms they are the best in the city. Laboratories are well stocked and they have a well maintained and a modern computer laboratory for the students. They have an audio-visual studio, a print media lab, a photo lab, and a large seminar hall. Along with that a large library with lots of books on Technology, media and journalism are present in the college.

Courses Offered

The institute offers undergraduate Bachelor of Computer Applications (BCA) which is a 3 year degree programme , Bachelor of Law (LL.B. Hons) which is a 5 year degree programme, and Bachelor of Journalism and Mass Communication (BJMC) which is  a 3 year degree programme

Admission Procedure

The students are selected based on their performance in the CET examination conducted by the Guru Govind Singh Indraprasta University New Delhi, through a common counseling process. The GGSIP University prepares a merit list of candidates based on their performance and they are allocated ranks according to that. Based on the rank the admissions to various colleges take place.

The College is well known and renowned and hence various companies from all over the globe visit the campus. Some of the companies visiting the campus are as follows: TCS, Wipro, HDFC, Dell, IBM etc. visit the campus, recruiting almost all the students of the institute.
