What should I do after 12th to become a Journalist? What is the syllabus of it?
i want to become a journalist ..
i am in class 12th nd have opted for non-med... what should i do after 12th to become a jounalist ..? i actually i want to be a broadcaster.. i am aiming for admission in JNU .. so also tell me the syllabus for that also .. please .. kriti

you do b.sc in mass communication and journalism after 12th to become a jounalist .. the top collage in india are:- ---NAM Institute of Professional Studies, Delhi ---Microtek College of Management & Technology, Varanasi ---Kasturi Ram Global Institute of Professional Studies (KRGIPS),Delhi ---Sikkim Manipal University, Kota good luck!

Hi.
To become a journalist, firstly you need to clear your 10+2, having english. Which is a compusary subject in all boards. Once you clear it, you have to do a graduation in mass communication and journalism from any recognized university. Some of the institutes are : Amity University Jamia Milia University. Symbiosis Pune etc So you can apply to these, and after you complete your graduation you can look for jounalist jobs in companies like: AAJ TAK NDTV India CNBC live TIMES OF INDIA Magazines etc

Hi if you want to be a journalist you need to be well trained in this field from undergraduate level,due to the high level of competition in this field.You can do a graduation in mass communication in a reputed institute providing this course.
Some of the few reputed colleges providing undergraduate mass communication courses are:- 1) Vivekananda Institute of Professional Studies located in New Delhi 2) Symbiosis Institute of Mass Communication located in Pune, Maharashtra. 3) Delhi College of Arts and Commerce, Delhi University located in New Delhi. 4) Kalindi College located in New Delhi 5) Maharaja Agrasena College, Delhi University located in New Delhi. etc..
