To become a journalist, firstly you need to clear your 10+2, having english. Which is a compusary subject in all boards.
Once you clear it, you have to do a graduation in mass communication and journalism from any recognized university.

Some of the institutes are :

So you can apply to these, and after you complete your graduation you can look for jounalist jobs in companies like:

Hi if you want to be a journalist you need to be well trained in this field from undergraduate level,due to the high level of competition in this field.You can do a graduation in mass communication in a reputed institute providing this course.

To become journalist, firstly you should start reading newspaper and watch news of television. This is a great way to learn about the profession of journalism.

Before you can decide on the journalism course, firstly you will need to pass class 12th with English. Your English speaking and writing skills should be great. Although I matters less if you opt for Hindi daily newspaper or news channel, still a good command on English will improve your chance of getting a good job.

Before you apply make sure you are ready for the following:

You should have excellent communication skills, This is very important in journalism.

The job of journalist is very difficult and there are no holidays or fixed working hours. You may be called upon in the middle of the night or you may have to wait outside a house of politician with temperature soaring above 40 degree.

You should be able to take on the pressure that journalist goes through. This include taking interview of senior politician or a big celebrity.

If you are ready for that. Then after completing the 12th go for the degree of Bachelor of Journalism. It is a three years course. In our country this course is known as several different names especially in different colleges. Other names of the journalism courses are:

B.J. (Hons) Bachelor of Jounalism (Honours)

B.C.J. Bachelor of Communication and Journalism

B.M.M. Bachelor of Mass Media

B.J.M.C. Bachelor of Journalism and Mass Communication
