Bipin Bihari College, Jhansi
Bipin Bihari College is a post-graduate college named after the great saint guru Sri. Bipin Bihari Banerji was formed in the year 1959 and the courses offered by the college are affiliated to Bundelkhand University in the state of Uttar Pradesh. Right from its inception, the college has been growing as an exemplary institution for research and higher education. The college is working as a grant-in-aid college recognized by the University Grants Commission under sec. 2 (f).
Courses Offered:
The college is offering different under graduation and post graduation courses under the faculty of science. The courses offered are Bachelor of Science and Master of Science in zoology, botany, chemistry, physics, biology and mathematics. In addition to these courses the college is also offering vocational courses in Silvipasture, Industrial microbiology, industrial fisheries and industrial chemistry.
Eligibility of getting admission:
For getting admission into the bachelor courses offered by the college, the candidates must have cleared the 10+2 examination and also the entrance examination conducted by Bundelkhand University. When it comes to admission for master’s degree courses, the candidate must have completed Bachelor course in the respective discipline apart from the admission test conducted by the university.
Facilities offered:
The college is offering several facilities like library, games and sports, extra-curricular activities, etc… for the overall development of the students apart from academics. The college is offering training to the students in different games like gymnasium, weight lifting, swimming, kabaddi, badminton, table-tennis, volleyball, cricket, football, hockey, etc… and is also sending student to university level competitions. Training is offered to the students under several other social service schemes like, NCC, NSS, and Rovers & Rangers. Apart from these facilities, a study center of Indira Gandhi Open University is also functioning in the campus of the college.
