Academy of Management Studies shortly called as AMS, is a leading institution for information and management technology education in the state of Uttarakhand and it was formed in the year 1993. Some of the courses offered by the college are affiliated to Uttarakhand Technical University, while some of the courses are coming under Hemwati Nandan Bahuguna Garhwal University. The institute is located in its own campus in the city of Dehradun.

Courses Offered:

The institute is currently offering the following courses:

PGDM: Post Graduate Diploma in Management is a two-year full-time programme and the course is equivalent to MBA. This course offered by the institute is approved by AICTE and Ministry of HRD of the Indian Government.

MCA: Master of Computer Application is a three-year post graduation course offered by the college and this course is affiliated to UTU and approved by AICTE.

BCA: This course is offered under Hemwati Nandan Bahuguna Garhwal University and its duration is three years.

BBA: This course is also offered under Hemwati Nandan Bahuguna Garhwal University and its duration is three years.

Infrastructure:

The classrooms in Academy of Management Studies are fully furnished with enough chairs & tables, projectors, LCD projectors and TV Sets. Furthermore, the college offers fully furnished large hostel facilities to girls and boys separately. The labs are furnished with more than 100 computers thereby enabling the students and staff to undertake data processing and research. The computers are loaded with latest versions of software programs.

Placements:

The academy provides placement assistance to its students with the help of placement cell. The cell works closely with industries to conduct campus interviews for the benefit of students. The academy holds the pride of offering 100% placement assistance to the students.
