Dena Bank was founded in the year 1938 with the name of Devkaran Nanjee Banking Company Ltd. The banking company was made public in 1939 and then came to be known as Dena Bank Ltd. It was nationalized in 1969 under the Banking Companies (Acquisition & Transfer of Undertakings) Act, 1970. The bank owns the pride of introducing Tele banking facility of selected metropolitan centers. This bank with five more public sector banks were chosen by the world bank for offering a loan of Rs. 72.3 crores for expansion of Tier-II capital in the year 1995 under the financial sector development project. For the purpose of technological training and development, Dena Bank has received a loan from World Bank.

Eligibility:

Educational Qualification: A Degree from a recognized University/Diploma in Banking & Finance by IIBF or any equivalent qualification with minimum 55% marks (50% for SC/ST). OR Master Degree/Post Graduate Degree/Diploma having 2 years full time course with minimum 55% marks (50% for SC/ST).
