Profile:

School of Planning and Architecture (also known as SPA) was started as the Department of Architecture of Delhi Polytechnic. The school was established in the year 1959 as a deemed university. The school is located at New Delhi. This school also comes under the category of few of Centrally Funded Technical Institutions under the Government of India. The major objective of this school is to impart education and research in the field of planning and architecture. At present, School of Planning and Architecture has three branches all over India and all these branches comes under the administrative control of Government of India.

Job Profile:

Applications are invited from eligible indian nationals for the posts of Deputy Librarian and Assistant Professor in School of Planning and Architecture. All selected candidates will have to serve in the different branches of School of Planning and Architecture.

Eligibility:

Candidates who are willing to apply on the specified posts must fulfill all the eligibility criteria such as age limit, educational qualification and experience in the relevant field. Candidates, who are not fulfilling any of these criteria are requested to not to apply in School of Planning and Architecture.

Educational Qualification:

Graduation degree from any recognized university is the minimum educational qualification set for the post of Deputy LIbrarian while Post Graduation degree is must for applying on the post of Assistant Professor in School of Planning and Architecture. Highly qualified candidates will get special preference over other candidates.

Assistant Professor (Architecture): Only 8 posts are available.
Assistant Professor (Planning): Only 3 posts are available.

Pay Scale:

Deputy Librarian: Rs. 15600-39100 + Grade Pay of Rs. 8000.
Assistant Professor (Architecture): Rs. 15600-39100 + Grade Pay of Rs. 6000.
Assistant Professor (Planning): Rs. 15600-39100 + Grade Pay of Rs. 6000.

Application Fee:

Non refundable fee of Rs. 500 (for General and OBC candidates) is need to be paid by the candidates. The fee is to be paid through a Demand Draft drawn in favour of Director, School of Planning and Architecture Bhopal. The demand draft should be drawn from any nationalized bank. This DD must be sent in support of the application form.

How to apply: Completely filled in application form and the Demand Draft of prescribed application fee are need to be sent in an envelope.
