Profile:

National Rural Health Mission (NRHM) is responsible for economic and social development so as to improve life quality of Indian citizens. NRHM is also responsible to make correction in the basic health care delivery system. NRHM also aims at improving the Indian medicinal systems to facilitate health care. NRHM is involved in increasing public expenditure on health, operationalizing community health centers into functional hospitals, reducing regional imbalance in health infrastructure, induction of management and financial personnel into district health system, integration of organizational structures, optimization of health manpower, decentralization and district management of health programmes, etc. The Mission aims at providing good nutrition, sanitation, hygiene and safe drinking water to the Indian citizens through a synergistic approach.

Job Profile:

National Rural Health Mission located at Punjab calls for application from Female Obstetrician for FRUs (CHCs).

Pay Scale – Rs. 30,000 + Incentives (for normal areas), Rs. 35,000 + + Incentives (for difficult areas), and Rs. 40,000 + Incentives (for more difficult areas).

Eligibility:

Age Criteria – Upper age limit is 65 yrs.

Educational Qualification – Candidates must have completed MBBS with post graduation degree or diploma in Obstetrics & gynecology from an institution approved by the Medical Council of India; they should have registered with Punjab Medical council and should also be medically fit.
