Jharkhand State Electricity Board (JSEB) was carved from existing Bihar State Electricity Board and established on 10.01.2001. The Jharkhand State Electricity Board works hard with the Government of India so as to make the Jharkhand State as a power hub. Since the State is enriched with mines and coal, JSEB is actively involved to reach its goal.

Job Profile:

Junior Engineers in different branches of engineering are invited to submit applications to the Jharkhand State Electricity Board.

P ay Scale – Rs. 9300-34800 in grade pay Rs. 4400

Eligibility:

Age Criteria: The age limit for general category is 21 yrs - 35 yrs. The age limit for SC/ST is 21 yrs – 40 yrs. The age limit for BC/EBC candidates is 21 yrs – 37 yrs.

Educational Qualification: Must have three years Diploma in respective field from any Government recognized institution or its equivalent with minimum 65% for General Category, 50% for  SC&ST and 60% for BC&EBC. Selection Process:

Candidates are selected for the post through objective type written test and interview.
