Mahatma Gandhi Mission’s Institute of Management was established in the year 1994 with the objective of producing quality managers to the developing economy. It is the first of its kind in the region of Marathwada and it is an ISO 9001:2000 certified institution. The institute is approved by AICTE and affiliated to Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar University for offering MBA and MCA courses.

Course Details:

As mentioned earlier, the institute is offering Master of Business Administration under regular and second shift categories and it is offering Master of Computer Applications. Under Regular MBA course, the college has an intake capacity of 120 students and the specializations offered are HR Systems, Finance and marketing. While, for part-time MBA and MCA courses, the intake capacity of the institution is 60 students each. For MBA HR Systems alone, the intake capacity of the college is restricted to 10 students per year.

Placement:

Alumni of the institution are working as its ambassadors and they are serving in top rated organizations like Nestle, TATA, Max New York Life, HDFC, Citibank, etc…Even during the period of recession, the institute had a placement record of 63% and the placement cell is keeping in touch with recruiters for finding the best placement opportunities for their students.

Infrastructure:

The campus of the institution is located in a campus spread over an area of 2 acres of land and the classrooms are furnished with audio-visual aids for offering better education to the students. The other infrastructural facilities offered by the college are library, computer lab and seminar hall. There are two seminar halls in the institution with seating capacity of 100 students and modern amenities. The library in the college is provided with 14 international publications, 100 periodicals and magazines and 19000 books.

Highlights of the institution:

Mahatma Gandhi Mission’s Institute of Management is conducting regular quiz competitions and a personality development council is also functioning under the institute for offering opportunity to the students to get overall development.
