The IP University under GGSIPU undertakes exam on the paper of Principles of Insurance for its BBA candidates. The question paper carries a maximum of one hundred marks and has duration of three hours. There are a total of eight questions offered in the paper, out of which candidates have to attempt any five. Each of the questions carries an equal mark of twenty. Each of the main questions is further sub-divided into several short other questions. However no option is offered during answering those short questions.

There are only Long answer type questions offered in the exam. Though the marks distribution in each of the main question is equal, but the marks distribution within the single main question is not constant as the question may have several parts, with each having their own marks awarded. Candidates are strictly advised to go through several Mock tests prior to appearing in the exam. Furthermore, solving previous year based questions also help in securing very high marks in the exam. Candidates should be going though all the section of the syllabus as well as brush up all the suggestions before the exam.
