Dr. M.G.R. Educational and Research Institute undertake an examination for its MBBS candidates in the Bio-Chemistry Papers. The question paper has a maximum of one hundred marks. The total duration of the paper is three hours. The question paper is divided into two sections namely Section A and Section B. There are about two main questions in Section A; one is a very long Essay format question carrying a maximum of twenty marks. The other main question is sub-divided into three different sub-questions, each carrying a maximum of ten marks.

Section B has a similar format. It also contains two main questions. The first question is a very long Essay type and carries a maximum of twenty marks. The other main question is sub-divided into three different questions each carrying a maximum of ten marks. There are no options or multiple type questions; also there are no subjective type questions. Candidates are advised to strictly go through a large section of Mock Test which enables them to attain high confidence and perform very well in the exam. They should also follow different suggestions from their teachers.
