Gujarat Ecological Education and Research (GEER) Foundation was established in 1982 by the Forests & Environment Department, Government of Gujarat. The GEER Foundation was registered as a Society under the Indian Societies Registration Act, 1860. The GEER Foundation is registered as a Public Trust under the Bombay Public Trust Act of 1950. The objectives of the Foundation are to provide ecological education and research, create public awareness about nature and environment, promote the cause of conservation, and to carry out ecology, ecosystem and environment related studies.

Job Profile:

Gujarat Ecological Education & Research (GEER) Foundation invites application from eligible candidates for the posts of Scientist, Research Associate, Junior Research Fellow, Technical Assistant, Accounts Officer and Accountant.

No. of posts: Scientist - 1, Research Associate - 4, Junior Research Fellow - 7, Technical Assistant -11, Accounts Officer -1, Accountant - 1

Pay Scale – Scientist - Rs. 25000 + 10% HRA, Research Associate - Rs. 22000 + 10% HRA, Junior Research Fellow - Rs. 14000 + 10% HRA and Rs.,16000 + 10% HRA if NET qualified, Technical Assistant - Rs. 5000 + 10% HRA (for B.SC) and Rs. 8000 + 10% HRA (for M.Sc), Accounts Officer - Rs. 22000 + 10% HRA, Accountant - Rs. 11000 + 10% HRA
