Uttar Pradesh Board Intermediate Chemistry Papers
The Examination Board of Uttar Pradesh Intermediate level offers exam in the paper of chemistry for candidates, who study in different Institutes affiliated to the Board of High School and Intermediate Education Uttar Pradesh.
Division of the paper:
There are three sections in the paper, namely Section A, Section B and Section C.
Paper Pattern:
The first section of the paper carries ten questions, out of which candidates have to answer all of them. Each of the questions in the section is very short answer type. The second section carries eight questions, out of which candidates have to answer any six. Each question in the section is Short answer type. The third section has three main questions, out of which candidates have to answer any two. Each of the questions is Essay Type. Candidates can answer the paper in either English or Hindi, as per the acclimatization of the candidate itself
Markings:
The paper carries a maximum of sixty marks. The first section carries a maximum of twenty marks, with each of the question carrying two marks, the second section carries a maximum of twenty-four marks, with each of the question carrying four marks and the last section offers a maximum of sixteen marks, with each of the question carrying eight marks.
Time allotted for examination:
The time duration is three hours.
