Lakshmibai National University of Physical Education was established in the year 1957 under the Government of India. The institute is named after the epic war heroine, Rani Lakshmibai who single handedly fought against Britishers after the death of her husband. The institute initially provided only Bachelor’s degree course or program. After almost 5 years, the institute introduced another two years degree course for the students. The institute is famous for being one and only institution present in the counrty which offers one year master’s degree program in Physical Education to the students.

Job Profile:

Applications on the prescribed performa are invited from the eligible candidates for making appointment to the following vacant positions of Lecturers, Hockey Coach, Fitness Trainer and Yoga Instructor in Lakshmibai National University of Physical Education. The vacancies are to be filled on contractual/temporrary or adhoc basis only.

1. Recruitment of Lecturers:
No. of posts: Only 4 posts are available.
Educational Qualification: M.P.Ed degree with NET qualified is the minimum educational qualification required for this post.
Pay Scale: Consolidated salary of Rs. 16000 per month.

2. Recruitment of Hockey Coach:
No. of posts: Only 2 posts are available.
Educational Qualification: M.P.Ed degree with NIS Diploma in Hockey Management is the minimum educational qualification required for this post.
Pay Scale: Consolidated salary of Rs. 15000 per month.

3. Recruitment of Fitness Trainer:
No. of posts: Only 2 posts are available.
Educational Qualification: M.P.Ed degree with PGDFM and 2 years experience is the minimum educational qualification required for this post.
Pay Scale: Consolidated salary of Rs. 12000 per month.

4. Recruitment of Yoga Instructor:
No. of posts: Only 2 posts are available.
Educational Qualification: M.P.Ed degree with MA in Yoga is the minimum educational qualification required for this post.
Pay Scale: Consolidated salary of Rs. 18000 per month.

Selection Process

Interested candidates are required to appear in a Walk-In-Interview which constitute the entire selection process for all the above specified positions in Lakshmibai National University of Physical Education. The Walk-In-Interview will be held on 25 February 2011. Qualified candidates of this interview test will not have to undergo any other test.
