Sushrutha Ayurvedic Medical College was established in 2003. The college comes under the Sushrutha Group of Institutions which also includes Sushrutha College of Nursing and Sushrutha School of Nursing. It offers high quality education and good hospital facility in Ayurvedic medicine.
Sushrutha Ayurvedic Medical College includes specialty hospitals such as Jayanagar General Hospital, CCRI&S Hospital, Maharaja Agrasen Hospital, and Padmashree Diagnostics in order to provide clinical exposure to the students. It provides excellent teaching through the best Ayurveda teaching staffs who are Postgraduate and Ph. D degree holders from National institutes.
The head of the institution is Dr B R Ramakrishna and the college teaches a detailed dissection to the students to provide a good foundation for their medical education. Course offered:
The college offers B.A.M.S (Bachelor in Ayurveda Medical Science) course. The duration of the course is 5 ½ years which includes 1 year internship.
Eligibility criteria for getting admission:
To get admission into the college, students must have at least 50% of aggregate marks in Physics, Chemistry and Biology in the 10 + 2 examination.

The college has a good infrastructure with excellent facilities such as well equipped labs, well equipped library, modern & well equipped Anatomy Department, and hostel facilities. The college also has a botanical garden with more than 300 species of medicinal plants.

sir, i have passed 10+2 (science ) with 77 marks in cbse board and completed b.sc in biotechnology from g.n.d.u amritsar in 2012. May i get admission in B. A. M. S directly without any entrance or i have to appear any exam ? Pls inform me detail. Also want to know the fees structure. Thank you.
