Tinsukia Commerce College was set up in the year 1972. The college is affiliated to the Dibrugarh University, as well as to the Assam Higher Secondary Education Council. The college is recognized by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC).

The college aims in providing excellent education in the field of commerce, mainly to the students of rural areas. The primary goal of the college is to provide job oriented education in addition to providing man making education. The college aims to produce intellectual and socially responsible professionals   by developing their social, moral and spiritual values.

Courses offered:

The Tinsukia Commerce College offers the undergraduate course – B. Com (Bachelor of Commerce). The duration of the course is three years. The college also offers Higher Secondary – Commerce course. The college also offers Post Graduate Distance Education programmes in Commerce.

Eligibility criteria for getting admission:

The candidates, who have passed 10+2 examination in commerce stream with at least 45% marks, are eligible to apply for the B. Com course. The admission for the B. Com course in the college is made based on the marks obtained in the qualifying examination.
