Gaining interest in any subject makes it easier to study and learn. The subject Political Theory and Thinkers under Kuvempu University B.A Political Science 1st Year arouses interest in the students and hence makes it easier to understand and do well in it. However, a proper analysis of the exam pattern helps to prepare for it in an easier way.

Division of marks and time allotted:

The paper is of 80 marks and the maximum time allotted for the exam is 3 hours. The paper is divided into 3 main sections. Section A contains 45 marks, section B contains 20 marks and section C contains 15 marks.

Paper Pattern:

The paper is divided into 3 sections. All the sections are compulsory to answer, however internal options are present in each of the sections. Section A contains six questions of 15 marks each and any three of them have to be answered. Section B contains four questions of 10 marks each and any two of them have to be answered and the last section i.e. section C contains six questions of 5 marks each and any three of them have to be answered. Care should be taken while mentioning the serial number of the question.
