Draftsman - How to become a Draftsman?
The job of a draftsman includes the conversion of a design idea into the realistic pictures. It can be of any type, like plan for a building, diagram for some machines, etc. They work in many industries and their works are said to be the blueprints for any buildings, sceneries, roads or highways. Qualifying Exam
Most employers prefer those candidates who have pursued a high school graduation. A degree programme of two year duration in computer aided drafting & design will be useful. This must be obtained from any reputed technical schools like ITT or any community colleges. Candidates who have pursued four year bachelor’s degree from any universities in specialized area are also recruited in this field. Pursuing certification courses in any specialization will add a value to their career in this field.
Who is eligible to apply?
Those who wish to become a draftsman should satisfy some eligibility criterion. They must have passed in the higher secondary examinations in order to be eligible for joining any diploma or degree courses in the concerned subjects. Mathematics should be a compulsory subject in their academic studies at 12th level. After completing this degree program they can find job in any public or private firms or can take up certification courses that will help to acquire a better job. After gaining enough exposure in this field one can become a self employee or can continue with some other high designation jobs.
