How can i join army
pls tell me

just fill in the C.D.S forms avialable at end january you can surelly join army in technical grade or else fill N.D.A forms but this will demand only 12th level degree

You can join army,navy and airforce also.

You can join army in there technical as well as logistic cadre.

There are several modes of entry scheme for you.

CDS: combined defence service,you can enter to army by cracking CDS exam conducted by upsc twice every year,provided you have'nt crossed the age limit of 23 years.

UES: through university entry scheme,which is conducted every year for entry into all defence services.

SSC: short service commission,specialy for engineers and pilots for the term of 10 years which is extendable upto 14 years and later on permanent commission.

besides these various vacancies are released in employment news every yera.

you can join army directly..you need to give a service selection board interview for this..you can apply directly to Addl. Directorate General of Recruiting (TGC), Army HQ, West Block III, RK Puram, New Delhi -110066 in response to advertisement published in March/April & Oct./Nov.

to join indian army you have to fulfill these basic criterias:

1)you should be less than 23 years old.
2)you should be medically sound.

after you fulfill these criterias you can then give the following exams to join indian army:

you need to sit for the CDS exam.for that you have to collect the form from the head post office of your region.it will hardly cost RS 20.
and then you have to qualify in that exam.

if you want to peruse your career in army then it will be better if you complete your technical graduation......ie. go for a engineering course and then apply for army .......this will help you a lot.......after that you can apply through CDS exam or UES entry,........

Hi, The best option to enter into army on completing Engineering graduation would be University Entry Scheme(UES). Nowadays, Recruitment has sped up through various Entries like SSC, Direct Entry for Short service directly by the concerned defence wing etc. You also opt for the old Routine procedure of appearing fot Combined Defence Exam(CDS) conducted by UPSC.

U can join the Indian army Through SSB or CDS.
both are the examinations which also opens the gate for airforce and navy too.

Yes you can definitely join defence services in IT department. I also want to join but due to medical reasons its not possible. One shoul have sharp mind and sound health to get into defence IT services.

the citizen in india to protect our country.

Engineering graduates (direct entry):-

-an engineering graduate can join the indian military academy directly. They

only need to attend the service selection board interview.

-age at the time of joining should be between 20-27 years.

-students who are in final and pre-final years of engineering degree course

can also apply to indian army as an officer. They are eligible for induction

into technical branches/services of the army as commissioned officers

under the university entry scheme. Age should be between 19-25 years for

final year engineering students.

First you have to give the CDS exam . The CDS exam conducted by UPSC.
the criteria for the exam is you need to be graduate with 60% marks .

You join army throw cds exam which is conducted by upsc(union public service commission) in 1year 2times for few ranks like as:-
1.Indian military academy/Naval academy/Air force academy.
2.Official training academy.
Eligibility Criteria for this exam:-
1.For Indian Military Academy/Officers' Training Academy: Degree from a recognized university or equivalent.
2.For Naval Academy: B.Sc. with Physics & Mathematics or Bachelor of Engineering.
3.For Air Force Academy: Degree of a Recognized University with Physics and Mathematics at 10+2 level or Bachelor of Engineering.
Scheme of examination:-
All type question are objective.
Subject:-
1.English,
2.G.K.,
3.Elementary math. .
Age Limit:-
For Indian military academy-19-23 year.
For Air force academy-19-23 year.
For Naval academy-19-22 year.

This year cds form fill up 29.10.2011 up to 28.11.2011 and it's exam date is 12.2.2012(it's cds ist exam).
And cds 2nd exam form fill up 02.06.2012 to 02-07-2012 and it's exam date is 16.09.2012.
