Hello sir..., i'm Kannan... Have finished my engineering in electronics and communication engineering with a aggregate of 81% last year...! Still i didn't get enough chance to get a good job...! What can i do to get a good job...? And what are the extra qualifications i need to get a good job...? Please reply...!

you have an very good percentage in your graduation,you will surely get an good job,
you can do course like chip designing which can really help you in getting job

Since you are a fresher so its difficult for you to get directly a good job. What you have to do you should apply for jobs released from time to time and join any company. After a good experience you will get good pay scale on the basis of your experience.
So you should just do the job which you got . Don't waste your time in search of good pay scale jobs . Since because of resection its hard to get high packages.
And also if you have a good skills you will get good pay scale in your first job also .

You have quite good percentile in your graduation and you must get something very good as you worth.

In the branch like ECE, there are ample job opportunities in today's market.

You can search for core jobs or even if you have good software skills you can easily join reputed software companies.

If you want to get some professional courses for better reference, then you can join good institutes to complete a certificate course which you find as essential.

Chances of getting jobs in the tele-communication companies are also bright as there are exams like Junior Telecom Officer of BSNL, or other recruitment company exams like MTNL.

There are both electronic and non-electronic media to guide you in the search of jobs.

Just register in a well known job site or consultancy service and they can help you to get a good job.

Look for the notifications of various companies job recruitments in employment news or national dailys and apply according to that.

Don't get disheartened,and don't sit idly. Always be optimistic and positive...You will surely going to get a worthy job if you look for it heartily..

u have a very good percentage of marks in b.tech so don't worry for job.

be confident of yourself and keep trying.

to get qualified for a good job u should concentrate on the following things

1. aptitude test which includes quantitative ,verbal and non verbal, logical reasoning

2.technical written test where questions will be asked related to your subjects. for this u study your text books as well as objective books.

3.after written test u will be called for GD or HR/TECHNICAL interview. u must be a good English speaker.

u should workhard on these sections after this u will get a good job.

Btech is enough to get a good job if your good in technical and in communication if it not so then it is better to do higher studies such as ms which more valuable for that exam you have to prepare well.

Its strange that even after getting such a good percentage you are finding it tough to get a job that too after ECE. Anyways no worries just try to apply for campus job offers or you can even try for offcampus job application

You can try courses related to your ECE courses.

But on the whole i would advice you to go for further studies like MTech,MBA etc

Why not give it a try? So think about it whether you want to do or wanna get a job..

This is totally unfair with you.
You may chose some courses like embedded system, VLSI design etc for getting good job.

Otherwise you have to do M.Tech for getting good job.

After B.Tech you can get good job ,only you have to appeart for exams , interview conducted by different companies.
But as per me is concern it will be better if
you go for your master degree like M.Tech or MBA.
After completing your masters degree
you will be paid more at your companies or
you can be a lecturer of institutes.

you are having very good percentage in btech. you must not give up trying, you will surely get a good job. or if you want to increase your qualifications then you can do mba or mtech. both the courses are very good and after doing that you will get a very good job with handsome salary.

I completed my B-Tech in Computer Science in 2010 with 69% but my 12th board is 59% due to this more company where I could not apply.
But i am not interesting in doing programing field.I am looking different career options which is something new and lot of opportunity for fresher on them .
Please suggest me some other courses offer guaranteed placement for Fresher and which demand in market.

there is no necessaity to do courses to get the job.
because now a days there is the need of knowledge.
if now you have a sufficient knowledge in your subject then there is no need to do anything, but you less in knowledge then you get some extra study in the particular subject.
you also prepare for the interview . this is the main factore.

Degree with good percentage of marks is not the only criteria for getting a good job. One should master the art of facing the interview ,and have good communication skills,apart from having good subject and presentation skills. One should develop good language apart from good dress code . One should appear confident, have Positive attitude. Well, there could be 2 better options to choose from :-

Option A.Take up a job at an reputed MNC and hone your skills in your field of studies.Option B.Get enrolled for a full-time program(such as, MS in Computers, MBA (IT), Patent Engineering etc.), at a very good institute which will provide you with a confirmed job opportunity on completion of the higher program. If you wish to know about the studies in the field of Patent Engineering and how it will benefit you, try and search for Intellectual Property Courses from any IP institute in India.

I suggest you friend go to DELHI or BANGALORE because these towns have many companies and they hire student by walk in interviews ..
so do not upset focus on studies and prepare well ..
if you do not get a job then join any tech support because experience have good market value ..

You have a very good aggregate percentage.You can get a good job.If you

have good knowledge about your field and also if you have skills than you can

get a job.Try to choose a perticular field like embedded system,chip designing

etc.Many companies require fresher for their work so you have so much

option.You can initialize with a low scale job and after that if you can apply

for a job then your experiance also counts.


Nothing to worry about your future.Just try for a job.

You have also do your further studies like m.tech.Its also a very good option

After B.Tech how to get a good job? Which extra courses a btech should do to get a good job?

As your marks suggests , you are a good student. I will advice you to go for the following courses to get good job after b.tech:

• Embedded Programming
• Chip Designing
• VLSI
• Networking

But if you don't want to go for these courses then you can switch towards programming and following programming courses are best for getting jobs:

• .NET
• J2EE
• PHP
• Certified Ethical Hacking
• Network Security

If still you get failed ,then go for higher courses like -M.Tech or M.B.A

After completion of B.tech in electronics and communication stream you will have lots of job opportunities..

Being an ECE stream student you will be able to apply for core sector jobs as well as software sector jobs...

Now it depends upon you that in which field you want to make your future career.

If you want to get a job in software sector then you must have some fundamental knowledge on programming languages like-- C, C++, JAVA etc...So, you can go for short term courses in any of these programing languages...
These things will help you to become a software developer in future..
