University of Pune, BBA, Sem I-Business Organisation and Systems Papers
University of Pune is one of the finest universities in the country and is a multi disciplinarian university offering courses in various streams. There are few other places in the country where you can find a good faculty for pursuing BBA. BBA students of the university during the first semester of the course have to study business organisation and systems. At the end of the semester, they need to face the exam of the subject. This is a very important paper for commerce students.
Description of the subject and about the paper
Business organisation and systems is a subject that deals with management of businesses and helps the students understand how to manage various businesses once they reach the highest echelons of it. This is a management subject and the students need to focus a lot on the subject.
The paper is totally descriptive; there are no objective questions in the paper. There is no option of choosing questions. All the questions in the paper are compulsory and have to be answered. The paper does not contain any sections. There are five questions in all. Even though all the questions are compulsory, internal options are provided within a question. All the five questions contain more than one question in addition to the optional question. All the questions are essay type questions. Definitions are of prime importance. In question 5, there are eight questions and the candidates need to choose any four.
Marking scheme and duration of paper
The paper is marked out of 80. There are five questions in all and all the five have to be answered. The first four questions carry 15 marks each. In question 5, there are eight sub questions. The candidates need to answer four of them and the total mark of this question is 20. The candidates are allotted three hours for completing the paper.
